THE MENSTRUAL PHASES

Love making it easier for myself to make decisions, and health planning is a weak spot for me. So when I learned that my menstrual cycle could be optimized nutritionally and with doing certain workouts at certain times, I had to try it for myself.

It's been a year since adjusting my lifestyle, and I've never felt better in my body! I understand that we're all built differently and for the record, I'm no doctor, but if you're a menstruating human and even remotely curious about learning more, I'd highly recommend reading Alisa Vitti's "In The Flo" book, in which this chart is based on. It isn't meant to box you in, it's meant to recommend what to consider eating and doing more of at certain times in your cycle to improve your hormonal health. Post it on your fridge or bring it along with you when your grocery shop!
